Practice profile: We collect the information that you provide us with when you create a practice on our Platform. For example, we collect your practice's name, and other optional information.

Client profile: We only collect the information that you or your Client provide us with. For example, we collect your Client's name and email address, and other optional information.

Client information: We collect medical evaluations, metrics, files, comments, notes or other information that you or one of your Clients upload to our Platform.

Uploaded content: We collect and store the information and content that you upload to our Platform, or send to us through email. Examples of content we collect and store include: the name and description of a program, exercise photos and instructions, notes, support queries and feedback provided to us.

Billing information: We do not store or process your billing information. Payment processing for Rehabit Subscriptions is handled by Payfast, one of South Africa's leading payment gateways. A link to their privacy policy is available below. By continuing the use of our platform you confirm you consent to the use of Payfast and the terms of its privacy policy.

Information we collect automatically

This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our platform, and is only used for our internal analytics and reporting.

Service usage: We keep track of the way you use and interact with our service when you visit, use or navigate our platform (www.rehabit.co.za). This information does not reveal your identity but may include device, connection and usage information such as your IP address, URLs and referring URLs and other technical information. This may also include your country or location and language preferences in order to support localization.

Other users: Other users may provide information about you when they submit content through the platform. For example, another user might provide your contact details so that they can refer the platform to you, or invite you to their practice.

We only keep your data for as long as you are a user of our Platform, and up to 30 days after a request for account deactivation. Records may be retained for longer if the retention is authorised by law. In using the platform you provide your specific, voluntary and informed consent for us to retain your data.

6. How to access, update and delete your data

You can access and update your data through our Platform. If you would like an export of your data, please contact us. If you would like to delete your data, or delete your account, please contact us. If you request to have your account deleted, we will retain your data for up to 30 days before deleting your data from our servers. Please note that we may need to verify your identity before responding to such requests.

Rehabit is an online, web-based platform. Your information is transferred and maintained on servers that may be located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction. We take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is secure and that adequate controls are in place to protect your information.

8. Children's privacy

Our Platform does not cater to users under the age of 18. However, clients of our users are likely to be under the age of 18. Our platform does not knowingly process children's information without the consent of a parent. If it comes to our attention that we are processing children's information without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will take steps to de-identify or delete those records.
