Patient Onboarding and Consent
Patient onboarding has arrived! You’ll still be able to add patients manually, but now it’s really easy to send onboarding forms.
We’ve also revamped the way patient consent is handled on Rehabit. New patients that are added through onboarding can now give consent on the onboarding form. We’ve added a Consent Management tab to the Patient Profiles where you can request consent from patients that were added manually. As a bonus, you can add your own disclaimer which will show up in the onboarding form and consent request form.
Practice Disclaimer
You can now add a disclaimer to your practice that you can attach to both the patient onboarding form and consent request form. Adding your own disclaimer is optional, but we’ve added it for practices who don’t yet have a nice way to collect patient consent.
We’ve added a simple disclaimer builder under your Practice Profile. You can create multiple practice disclaimers, but you can only select one when you send out an onboarding form or consent request. Once you’ve created a disclaimer and marked it as “published”, then it will be available to select when you send out onboarding forms and consent requests.
The disclaimer builder lets you add headings, descriptions, and bullet points. These will show on both the onboarding form and consent request form, and their respective PDF files.
Patient Onboarding
The Patients feature has a new Onboarding tab. This shows all the onboarding forms that you’ve sent out that are either pending or submitted. To send an onboarding form, add a patient like you normally would. You’ll now have the option to either create a patient manually or send an onboarding form.
Once a patient has submitted their onboarding form, you’ll get a chance to review the details and accept the patient into your practice.
An onboarding form PDF will be generated with all the details and saved to the patient’s profile.
Patient Consent
Patient Profiles now have a new Consent Management tab. You can request patient consent which will send them a form that is very similar to the onboarding form, but only with the details for giving consent. The PDFs that are generated from the onboarding form and consent request form will show up here, and you can download them whenever you want to.
